Level 2 Electrical
This type of work involves carrying out installations, repairs and maintenance work on service lines that run between a property (both business and residential) and the electrical supply network.
Level 2 Electricians are authorised to work on or near Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy’s network and carry out both disconnection and reconnection of the electrical supply, working on underground and overhead service lines, upgrading of the power supply, and installing and connecting electrical meters.
A Level 2 Electrician also handles metering equipment and live wire connection in accordance with the Australian Wiring Rules and Regulations (AS NZS 3000:2018).
